Programme: Sweelinck, Frescobaldi, Scarlatti, Bach
Asami Sakimoto studied in Tokyo, Brussels, Leuven (LUCA School of Arts, Campus Lemmens) and The Hague. She has been responsible for the care and maintenance of the keyboard instrument collection at the House of Polyphony for years. After the maker Jan Boon, she probably knows these instruments best! No wonder she chose a very fitting repertoire for the replica's of historic instruments from the 16th and 17th Centuries. This lunch time concert is a try-out for a contest Asami is preparing to compete in in November.
